LA DOTD Announces Emergency Bridge Closure on HWY 531 South of HWY 532

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the LA 531 bridge just south of the intersection with LA 532 in Dubberly, Webster Parish will be closed, beginning on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
This closure is necessary due to the condition of the structure, with repairs scheduled to begin as soon as materials arrive. Currently, there is no date on reopening, but DOTD will issue an update when further information is available.
This bridge is located over an unnamed waterway, immediately south of LA 532 (see included map).
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to detour.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
