Wilson Named New North Webster Football Coach

North Webster High School is pleased to announce the addition of its newest member to the Knight family! Head Coach Christopher Wilson will be leading the Knights as their head football coach beginning with the 2024-25 season and will be formally introduced to the community at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
Coach Wilson is currently serving as an offensive line /running back coach and head boys powerlifting coach at North Desoto High School where the Griffins came off a highly successful 2023-24 season. Previously, Coach Wilson served as the head coach at Plain Dealing High School and had stints at Mansfield High School, Booker T. Washington High School, and Green Oaks High School. He comes highly recommended from each program in which he served and the Knights have an exciting chapter ahead!
Coach Wilson is a graduate of Southern University and is certified in 7-12 Social Studies. He and his wife, Lauren, are the proud parents of Camryn, age 9, Hollis, age 7, Lennox, age 5, Cayson, age 1, and Cadence, age 1. Everyone is sure to meet the entire Wilson family soon as they will be a major part of NWHS athletics.
His mission is to provide an avenue to build character and instill high values in everyone who participates in our programs at North Webster High School. He feels that the athletic experience will foster personal growth, serve as ambassadors to NWHS, promote high academic standards, and sustain a positive family-like atmosphere.
