WWPJ Meeting Wrap-Up – February 2023

There were several Board appointments approved by the Webster Parish Police Jury on Tuesday. The Jury approved appointments for several boards including:
Webster Parish Communications District:
- Reappointed Hank Haynes and Ursula Hullaby to 4-year terms beginning 1/1/2023.
Webster Parish Fire Protection District 8:
- Reappointed Leon Smith to serve 2-year term beginning 2/1/23.
Sarepta Fire District #5:
- Reappointed Todd Pickard and Michael Corley with terms expiring 12/31/24.
Webster Parish Convention, Visitors & Tourism Commission:
- Appointed Jerri Lee to replace Nick Cox, term expiring 12/31/23.
- Appointed Dian Blake to replace Karen Culvert, term expiring 12/31/25.
The only other action taken by the Jury at Tuesday’s meeting was the approval of Audit Engagement for the Annual Financial Audit with Wise, Martin, and Cole for audits for the years of 2022, 2023, and 2024 and CPA services for 2023.
The next meeting of the Webster Parish Police Jury is scheduled for Tuesday, March 7th.
