Nelwyn C. Weaver

Funeral services for Nelwyn C. Weaver will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Paul Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at Gilgal Cemetery in Minden Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.

Nelwyn was born January 25, 1938, in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest March 9, 2023 in Haughton, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Weaver, parents Hosea and Era Cox, sisters Christine and Polly, brother H.C. Cox, and daughter-in-law Melody.

She is survived by her son, Michael Weaver of Pittsburg, Texas, daughter Debbie Dietrich of Haughton, grandchildren Bryan Rhodes, Ann Dietrich, Meredith Weaver, Matthew Weaver, and Joseph Milam, and great-grandchildren Gabriel, Jocelyn, Claire, and Orion.
