Malcolm Weaver

Funeral services for Malcolm Weaver will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Gary Paul officiating. Interment will follow at Gilgal Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. before the service.

Malcolm was born February 12, 1937 in Plain Dealing, Louisiana  and entered into rest March 1, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Alvin and Hershell Weaver, sisters Mary Faye Hall, Lois Anderson, Nettie Evans Hicks, and daughter-in-law Melody Weaver.

He is survived by his wife Nelwyn Weaver of Shreveport, son, Michael Weaver of Pittsburg, TX, daughter Debbie Dietrich of Haughton, grandchildren Bryan Rhodes, Anna Dietrich, Meredith Weaver, Matthew Weaver, and Joseph Milam, and great grandchildren Gabriel, Jocelyn, Claire, and Orion.

Pallbearers will be Todd Dietrich, Bryan Rhodes, Matthew Weaver, Gabriel Rhodes, Joseph Milam, Mike Gaddis, Ron Denny, and Bert Grubbs.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Weaver and Jackie Totten.
