Moses Lorenzo Cundiff, Jr (M.L.), age 90 of Mountain View, Arkansas graduated to his heavenly home on September 12th, 2020. Born in Hugo, OK in 1930 to Moses Lorenzo Cundiff and Irsa Euphemy Davis. He moved to Minden, LA in 1941.Though he moved to Shreveport after marriage, he considered himself a native of Minden, LA and Fort Towson, OK. M.L served in the Air Force as a Personnel Clerk serving in Anchorage, AK.

M.L. was a diligent worker retiring from his career in insurance sales in 1992 after nearly 4 decades. The Cundiff family was part of the founding of the First Assembly of God in Minden in 1942, but M.L. joined First Assembly of God in Shreveport (now Shreveport Community Church) on his arrival in Shreveport where he served as a Sunday School teacher and in the Choir for some years.

He was proceeded in death by his first wife Obie Nell Johnson, his parents Moses Lorenzo Cundiff and Irsa Euphemy Davis, by his siblings Louise Greer, Charles Cundiff, Virginia Hood, and Jane Bland.

M.L. is survived by his wife Peggy Cundiff of Mountain View, AR, his brothers Sam Cundiff [Laverne] of Marshall, TX and Lloyd Cundiff of Minden, LA, his daughter Judy Jones [Jasper “Chip”] of West Monroe, LA and their children [Nicholas Jones and Elizabeth Fisher], his son Don Cundiff of Whitney, Tx and his children [Katelyn Caves, Kyra Provence, Andrew Cundiff, Caleb Cundiff, Breanna Cundiff, Elijah Cundiff, and Lilly Cundiff], his Stepsons Mark Nichols [Carolyn] of Mountain View and his children (Aaron Nichols, Steven Nichols, Zach Nichols and Rachel Nichols) , Brent Nichols [Paulette] of Mountain View, AR and their children (Kristi Manzanares and Amber Masterson), and Todd Nichols [Kristie] of Shreveport, LA and their children [Kade and Kameron Garlington] and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial will be held at the graveside in Minden at the Minden City Cemetery (412 Pines Street, Minden LA 71055) on Thursday September 17th at 11:00am.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lane Pearson, Randy Pearson, Gary Pearson, Ken Cundiff, Brent Nichols, and J. Todd Nichols.
