Janice was born on November 20, 1948, to Jack and Faye Smith. Janice was a life-long resident of Minden. She raised three strong independent daughters and took so much pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Janice was a member of First Baptist Church in Minden and enjoyed her Sunday School class and getting visits from the First Baptist Church Youth Group. She enjoyed genealogy research, finding treasures at Goodwill, and was the ultimate praline maker.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Faye Smith, brother, Jack Smith, Jr. and sister, Deborah Smith Roberts.

She is survived by her daughters, Kristy Harvill and husband Jeff, Jennifer Flynn and husband Matt, and Julie Coyle and husband Charlie; grandchildren, Jeffrey Harvill, Justin Harvill and wife Rachel, Jake Harvill, Michael Flynn and wife Erica, Abby Flynn, Jack Coyle, and Mary Helen Coyle; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Cayson and Fisher Flynn and Addison Kate Harvill.

Graveside services for Janice S. Allison will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Bro. Bill Crider.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeffrey Harvill, Jr., Justin Harvill, Jake Harvill, Michael Flynn, and Jack Coyle.

The family would like to thank the First Baptist Youth Group for their many visits, for meals, and help with her yard.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church Youth Department or Pleasant Valley Cemetery Fund.
