Funeral services for Corine Parrie Scott will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, Louisiana with Father Keith Garvin officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Zwolle. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m. with rosary at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday October 7, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana and Friday, October 9, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. with rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana.
Corine was born January 4, 1945 in Zwolle, Louisiana and entered into rest October 2, 2020 in Sibley, Louisiana. Corine was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Minden. A beautician for 48 years, she loved volunteering and was Volunteer of the Year twice with the LNHA. She loved working in her yard and her beautiful flower beds, traveling, watching the LSU Tigers, the New Orleans Saints and eating crawfish. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Corine was welcomed to her heavenly home by her beloved daughter, Sandy Trichel Sugg; parents, Phillip and Elvie G. Parrie; brother, Herman Parrie; sisters, Mary Ann Blankenship, Florence Barker, Salina Remedies, and Dorothy Meshell.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Pat Trichel and fiance Shauna Blair of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; daughters, Susie Gay Seipp and husband Erik, Kristie Trichel Stevenson and husband Jon both of Minden; grandchildren, Brian Gulett of Minden, PJ Trichel of Bossier City, Kourtlyne Bird and spouse Jordan of Minden, Chandler Stevenson of Minden, and Caleb Seipp of Minden; great-grandchildren, Noah Gulett and Harper Gulett both of Minden; sisters, Elsie Emery of Zwolle, Lucy Boudreaux of Converse, Beatrice Parrie of Hemphill and Martha Etheridge of Zwolle; brothers, Phillip Parrie, Jr., Raymond Parrie, and Donald Parrie all of Zwolle; and daughter-in-law, Carol Coffey Trichel of Bossier City.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Parrie, Jason Parrie, Phillip Keith Etheridge, Jon Stevenson, Erik Seipp, and Timothy Ezernack.
