Our Pops loved life but most of all he loved his family! Pops never met a stranger and was one of the kindest people you would ever know. Pops loved being outside, most days he sat on his front porch watching cars go by and giving many friendly waves. He enjoyed deer hunting with his son, son-in-law, and grandchildren. He loved hanging out at Robert’s shop listening to fishing stories or just whatever the conversations were about. Another one of his loves was riding the trails on his horse, Mickey. He made many memories with his Minden Riding Club friends. And we must not forget about the many mornings spent at Deli Stop, visiting with his buddies. Our Pops will be missed by many!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Eva Smart and brother Thomas V. “Uncle Jr.” Smart, Jr.
