Overnight Closure on LA Hwy 532/I-20 Overpass April 30th

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will be closing the eastbound lanes of I-20 and the LA 532 overpass and traffic will be diverted to the on and off-ramps at LA 532 and back to I-20. This closure will be for April 30th. The closure is part of the project to replace the LA 532 overpass over I-20. Lane closures at night began on Monday and will continue through Friday between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night, to allow crews to continue construction of the bridge substructure for the new overpass. The new overpass, which is an $8 million project, replaces the current overpass, which was built in 1960. The project began in mid March and is estimated to be completed by the fall of 2021.
